With SLR flying under the radar, I was was eager to investigate the fuss with this cigar. Rest easy: the hype is real. Expect a slightly spicy nuttiness mixed with wood and leather, and a razor-sharp burn with great smoke output.

I'm not sure I've ever had a cigar this good. The cedar is there, but there's something else. Something rare and fantastic that's hard to define. Whatever it is, I recommend it.

I was a big Serie A smoker (Cuban SLR) when I lived in Hong Kong. The Serie A had been so hard to find in recent years I have been searching for something similar. I found these on mikes and I'm glad I too the chance. While a bit different from the Cubans they have that same kind of twang on the tip of your tongue. That cigar that tastes like a cigar should, not fruit notes of cinnamon, just good hearty tobacco
