A Serendipity

Having never seen or heard of this cigar before, I decided to roll the dice and order a box. When I saw the name Placencia, with all the new offerings by R&J, I figured this might be worth a try. What a surprise to find such a terrific and permanent addition to my humidor. A handsome and well-constructed beauty with a perfect draw and burn. This is a medium-bodied, box-pressed smoke literally bursting with full but smooth flavor. I'm not one to denote flavors of fruit, spice, coffee or any of all that sophisticated crop. I just want a cigar that gives me honest, quality tobacco flavor that is pleasing to smoke, smell and doesn't become harsh during the last one-third. This cigar gives me exactly what I want and hope they never stop producing these gems.
