Romeo y Julieta 1875 Connecticut Nicaragua cigars are a groundbreaking project from Altadis U.S.A! If you’re a fan of Connecticut-shade wrappers, you’re probably used to seeing them come from either the Connecticut River Valley or grown under the natural cloud-cover of Ecuador. Now, compliments of master-blender, Rafael Nodal and Nestor Plasencia, you have the rare opportunity to try a cigar wrapped in the first Nicaraguan-grown Connecticut seed tobacco. Ever. This cigar is a result of several years of collaboration and experimentation from two of the top-names in cigars, with Rafael Nodal handling blending, and all tobacco grown by Nestor Plasencia. It’s not every day an all-new wrapper variety hits the market. If you’re a well-seasoned aficionado looking for a high-end smoke that’s unlike any other, then, this is a cigar you’ll want to feature in your humidor....Read More
This is one of my husbands favorite cigars and one that I can always get for him and know that he is going to enjoy. Great for the price and was included in one of the monthly subscription packs.

Nice Medium Smoke
First puffs were bready and cedary; then, touch of vanilla, a bit of straw & hay and wispy note of citrus; even burn and draw.

Bad box, very disappointing
I recently purchased a box of these 1875 Connecticut bullies and I am quite disappointed. I’ve gone through four cigars so far and they’ve all had uneven burns, poor draws and I would go as far as to say that one of the car cigars had a spoiled taste and aroma. At this stage, I wouldn’t even give them away.

The Connecticut Cigar Combo
Connecticut Kings
Superb pairing of hearty Connecticut wrappers. Not your grandpa's Connecticuts. These are new generation with much fuller blends to satisfy today's smokers who need that extra punch.

Easy smoking
Nice wrap on this R&J. Quality at a fair price. Not complex but easygoing smoke. Burn is slightly fast but to be expected at this price point.
This was a great stick. Smooth and creamy and perfect for a round of golf. Burn had a funky spot about half way through but a touch up solved that issue. You can’t be inconspicuous with this sized stick, everyone will know when you fire it up.

Excellent Creamy Stick
Excellent stick I enjoyed sitting by the pool on a hot day. Smooth and creamy from the first draw down to just above the band. Then got earthy and kind of bland. But still a enjoyable smoke. Draw was just a tad tight. Burn and ash were excellent. Good to have a couple of these in your humidor.
