The Bold by Nish Patel has a smooth glistening dark brown wrapper with minimal veins that sport a tight, nearly seamless composition. The wrappers and fillers come from the farms of Jalapa and a combination of other aged tobaccos from Esteli, with the binders comprised of both San Andres and Connecticut. The pre-light aroma is peppery with baking spices and subtle notes that have flavors of a sweet and spicy sauce; describing it as a teriyaki or curry taste. Nice sticky sweetness on the wrapper. Lots of thick smoke with excellent construction and a nice clean burn line. A cigar that is best left for the pros to smoke as I think it's boldness could overwhelm a lot of newbies.
