Partagas Aniversario is the commemoration of the 170th year anniversary of Partagas, one of the oldest cigar brands in the industry. General Cigar decided to honor the prestigious brand with a limited release celebrating one of the oldest cigar company in the world. Partagas Aniversario represents the 3rd celebratory iteration of its founding year, starting with the release of Partagas 150 twenty years ago. The Aniversario was rolled with a high-priming, authentic African Cameroon wrapper grown by the Meerapfel family in the Kadey region of Cameroon. The binder is a Cuban-seed Connecticut binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican long leaves. This is a medium-bodied cigar that delivers rich flavors of creaminess, oak, woodsy, espresso, and spicy notes. High end and classic, Aniversario is a 4 country blend with a Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper, Habano Connecticut binder, and four fillers: Esteli (ligero), Gurdian (ligero), Piloto Cubano (ligero), and Ometepe (viso).

This fantastic cigar is one of a few best cigar I have ever smoke.
Everything come in harmony. The construction is perfect, and the combustion easy. The cigar is a real beauty, nice shape, right size, the wrapper is perfect. Lots of floral flavors as well as woody and nuts, even creamy. I Have to say that it is a cigar better than the Zino and Cohiba. There is just one thing I didn't like is the ring the desing is a bit disapointing.
5 Stars without a doubt. I still have 9 to keep on, Hurry up it is a very hard to find cigar at a very good price.

Pretty good to my palate!

Always enjoying the Aniversario. Slightly sweet and creamy. Mainly with cedar and cafe notes at the beginning. Some nuttiness and spice mid way and a flare of harshness towards the end (I actually like that rough meaty flavor.

Partagas are among the best

This is a medium-bodied cigar. A bit sweet and creamy. It burns quite well and it is well made. I had higher hopes for the price I paid so 4 out of 5 it is.

Partagas Aniversario Salamone

Disappointing

I am a big fan of the Partagas brand and love many of these cigars, however, I was disappointed with the taste (or aftertaste) of these Aniversario sticks. The cigar is actually well constructed and smokes well (good drag, doesn't go out) but, especially at its price, it just doesn't have the taste of a good quality cigar. Not sure what happened with these at the factory. Very rare for this brand to be bad.
