Partagas 1845 Clasico Robusto

balanced and good

Low bite, nice draw, long even ash, low spice, strong notes of musk like leather and perhaps almonds. I sipped bourbon with this but I imagine straight black Italian espresso could do well too. I wouldn't buy a box but I will buy more. When in Rome, (the expression), this is a nice one to have in mixed situations. Good cigar!

Interesting lineup especially since the Diablo leads the charge in power with the partagas behind it, then th Inspirado red....how the hell did the CAO get mixed up in this crowd?!

WHA?!?

OK totally shocked and stunned. Picked this up in a double stack and it is a WINNER!!
From wrapper to scent it won an odor approval nod from the other occupant of the house, normally a candle and or a shower is in order after smoking but this is actually very pleasant.
Burned even, on par with a couple others I have had.
Nice flavor, nice pleasant scent to me has a hop like quality and pairs very well with my after dinner coffee and whiskey. These are quickly approaching my top picks in my humidor.

Smoking Good Cigar Combo

Pleased

I already smoked 2 sticks (Punch and Macanudo) out of the 4 brands and I am pleased. The Punch needed a retouch or two but the draw was good on both cigars anyways. The cigars came fresh with some sort of humidification pillow in the bag. Shipping took a bit longer than expected so I called Mike's and they explained that it is due to the current situation with the Corona outbreak and that it is normal to expect shipping delays. Stay home and smoke cigars fellas.
