The Padron family's tobacco legacy is incomparable, and their journey began with the arrival of Dámaso Padrón, the family patriarch to Cuba in the late 1800's from the Canary Islands. To honor this momentous occasion in the journey of the Padrón family, Dámaso's great grandson, Jorge Padrón, released the highly-venerated Padrón Dámaso line of premium cigars.

Renowned for their Nicaraguan tobaccos, the Dámaso's Connecticut wrapper marks a departure from their regular full bodied cigar standards. A mild to medium bodied cigar made with a blend of Nicaraguan long filler and lovingly wrapped in a Connecticut wrapper. Don't let the milder body fool you it does not lack on flavor or complexity, but if you really want that classic Padrón strength you'll enjoy the stronger "red-label" number 32 and 34.

Featuring subtle notes of sweet cream, cedar, pepper, and spice, this cigar is a fitting addition to the Padrón lineup. This well-crafted blend was designed to ensure that the cigar will still keep its richness, character and complexity that Padrón is known for. Padron Damaso No 8 - Corona

Great cigar

The Damaso is a lighter tasting cigar but still 100% Padron. Perfect for my Sat mornings with a cup of light and sweet coffee. I always have a box of these in my humidor. They are a great change from the heavier maduros I tend to gravitate towards.

Padron Damaso No 34 - Torpedo

A Fine Cigar

The blend is wonderful and complex. A bit bolder than medium, IMO. The wrapper adds a lot to the package. I'm coming to really enjoy the Damaso design, and the torpedo is my favorite shape. Perfect draw.

Very interesting blend - light, spicy, but plenty strong in the red variety. I also enjoy the 1964 and 1926 blends; this is a great addition to the Padron legacy.

Sweet Spot

Nice mellow and sweet. There a certain creaminess mixed in with that signature Padrón flavor. The spice is still there and there is no doubt is a Padrón....just a different kind of Padrón that I would highly recommend.
