The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series line debuted in 1994 to celebrate Padron’s 30th anniversary. A hit from the beginning, it remains one of the most popular and highly rated cigar lines ever created more than 20 years after its launch.
This Nicaraguan cigar, created by one of the most respected cigar families in history, Padrón's box-pressed cigars feature top-of-the-line tobaccos that blend together to create a well-balanced flavorful smoke. While it may have been created as a celebratory cigar, it quickly grew to become one of the most popular cigars of all time.
With both natural and Maduro sun-grown wrappers, this dark smoke features a perfect draw and layer upon layer of complex flavors to boot. With tobacco aged for four years, these are box-pressed in the Cuban tradition and feature a special double band individually numbered to guarantee authenticity. Not many better than this one

The Padron 1964 Anniversary is one of the best cigars I've ever smoked. Definitely in my top 3 list. This cigar is beautifully wrapped in silky Nicaraguan leaves. The burn never disappoints and it would be quite rare if I ever need to relight it or retouch it. Always smooth with the right amount of woody and peppery notes. One of my favorites.
