My Father has explained is actually fashioned after the very cigar brand from the early 1900’s that bore the same name. Moving past the cigar band the cigar features a gorgeously dark and oily Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper. This dark chocolate wrapper features a red-tint that is a beautiful contrast to the aqua-blue wrapper.
The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is a wonderful compliment to the aged Nicaraguan Esteli binder and long filler tobaccos. The super-flavorful wrapper and spicy / tasty filler, team up to make La Gran Oferta stand out among the competition.
With a lineup of cigars that include The Judge and Flor de Lad Antillas, the Gran Oferta Cigar is a fitting successor to the My Father crown. While it is a Medium-Bodied cigar, the smoke is a bit closer to medium-full bodied than pure medium, making it a serious release that is truly memorable.
