Made by hand at Tabacalera Cubana in Nicaragua, the Black Label is one of the most robust blends from Don Pepin to date. Wrapped in Pepin’s finest golden caramel Corojo leaf, this noteworthy blend of Cuban-seed tobacco hails from the fertile black soils of Nicaragua.
Alternatively known as the “Cuban Classic Blend”, this flavorful Nicaraguan Puro features a composition that is designed to be in perfect balance with your palate. Medium to full-bodied by nature, the Don Pepin Garcia Black Label cigars carries distinct tastes of earth, cedar and pepper, as well as the classic Pepin flavor that is well known among cigar aficionados. Each cigar that Pepin produces has its own unique characteristics, and the Black Label is no exception. This truly fine cigar exemplifies what an ultra-premium cigar is all about, from the expertly cultivated Corojo 99 wrapper to the meticulously applied triple cap, this is a truly exceptional cigar. This Don pepin Garcia Black Label received a 92 rating in the Cigar Aficionado August 2015 issue! ...Read More
This one was nice. I usually smoke the blue but the black is a bit heavier. I liked it.

I find the cigar to be the balance in a corojo. The structure of the cigar is 99.8% perfect for a handmade cigar. The flavor is powerful and consistent throughout the smoke. The Gigante size is a good pleasant 2 hour and change smoke. Stay away from these cigars, because they leave more for me.

Great take on the Belicoso, increasing the ring a bit. Nuff power and leather spice on the first third. Last few puffs are pure pepper, nice way to end it with a wicked retro.

Very Balanced
For a strong cigar the power/flavor balance is off the chain. The hit the nail on the head here. Lots of pepper and cedar with heavy earthy notes. There are hits on caramel on the nose but they dissipate by the end of the first half
