Mark Twain Memoir No. 2 - Gordo

Pleasant daily stick

Value is subjective of course, eyes and beholders. I can't stand someone expecting a 3$ -5$ cigar not be as nice as a 20$ cigar. These gordo Punch above price point on flavor without a doubt. First third was heavy cedar, course ground medium roast coffee and cream and had a slight uneven burn, which once corrected was even through the rest of the smoke. Second third was milk chocolate and oak, slight black pepper and almost citrus/ cashew. The wrapper did have a small crack but didn't affect the draw, at least not noticeable, didn't have to work to keep it going. Final third was deep dark chocolate and espresso. Overall these cigars are awesome, especially considering a box of 20 for less than 100$ including shipping, which arrived 2.5 days after the order was placed

Mark Twain Memoir No. 2 - Gordo

The worst cigar I have ever purchased

It is rare that I leave a review on anything that I purchase or use in this case.I must because these cigars are beyond substandard.

6 out of the box I could not get to draw to light them
Half of the box either tunneled were burned down the side
4 from the box almost worked The rapper's cracked in numerous spots causing more problems, One of the four lost the entire rapper it came completely off
Out of the entire box only two of the cigars actually smoked like a decent cigar.

Whoever owns this brand should be required to make a public apology to the Samuel Clemens family with the abuse of his pin name Mark Twain. There is no way I would even think about recommending this cigar to any one.

The only recommendation I can give for this cigar is that Mike's should drop it immediately. Well I did not expect top of the line sticks out of this box I did at least expect to be able to smoke more than two of them. Based on the price point and the number of cigars I could smoke these definitely were not forty dollars cigars.
