Cubiche
CUBICHE
company is a privately owned family operation.
In 2011, the Cubiche brand was launched. The packaging styling is a carbon copy of the legendary Cuban cigar brand Cohiba. The bands feature the same three stripes one black and white polka dotted followed by a white and gold stripe featuring the brand name and finally the last stripe is a plain marigold yellow.
Despite looking like a Cohiba, Cubiche tastes nothing like the Cuban classic. The Nicaraguan blend packs a lot of flavor but has a mild-strength. The natural cigars claim they are a “Cuban Wannabe”.
Cubiche has a coffee flavored line known as Café Con Leche. Yet another play on a Cuban classic since café con leche, which is coffee with milk, is a popular Cuban breakfast staple.
The Leon brothers own two factories one in La Pintada, Panama and the other in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Cubiche cigars are handcrafted in the Nicaraguan factory. While most of the tobacco used is local, the wrapper leaves are Connecticut-seed Ecuadorian-grown tobacco.
The brothers own a lounge in Doral, Florida, which is an up-and-coming neighborhood in Miami. The local buzz praises the lounges ambiance and it is rated as one of the best places in town to enjoy a cigar among friends.
Reviews for Cubiche are stellar among consumers. It is premium value brand and the makers keep that in mind, however, their main focus is on maintaining the quality of their cigars.
Cubiche pays homage to the Cuban roots of the cigar industry. It is the perfect way for aficionados who prefer milder cigars to appreciate the Cuban essence of smoking. This tasty brand is perfect for everyday or special occasions.
