The Casa Cuba name was first registered in 1956 by the Casa Cuba Cigar factory of Tampa, FL. They had a sizable amount of success until they were bought out by the Arturo Fuente Cigar Company in the late 1970’s. The Casa Cuba name has remained relatively low key in the cigar world. That was the case until the Fuente family showcased the Casa Cuba line at the 2013 IPCPR Tradeshow. It became yet another one of the the Fuente Family's showstopping cigars! I tried this and the doble cuatro. They are both very great cigars. Medium flavor but full of smoke. Very enjoyable. I highly recommend. Hopefully mikes will start making these available online so I can buy a box!

Great cigar
While at my local cigar shop, this cigar was recommended this to me. I was highly surprised. The flavor was medium but almost like a maduro which I prefer. I had no issues with draw and it smoked perfectly down tot he nub. It not too big of a cigar is it’s perfect for the morning or afternoon break time. I’m sure it would go just as well with a glass of whisky as with coffee. Def a great cigar. I a bit bummed that I can’t buy a box on here. It’s sold “in store only” and I’m in NY.. if you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend.

This huge art deco ashtray reminds me of the old days when you dressed up in a suit and panama hat to go out to the clubs and casinos in the islands... And smoking a cigar in public didn't get you the stink-eye.
