A hefty smoke...the 6x60 gordo is where everything this cigar has to offer is magnified in richness, complexity and smoothness. It's no secret that these big gauges burn smoother and the Amazon is no exception. First, a dark and oily wrapper makes this stick beautiful to behold. All the flavors are there, only richer and more sophisticated. There's the soft leather and chewy brownie, along with bitter cocoa and dusty pecan notes. The draw is perfect and never becomes overly spicy. No canoes or fussy re-lightings...this stick is perfection up to the hilt.

When I tell you that I have been buying these by the box for many years now, I mean that I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. This is one of 2-3 "core" lines that I keep stocked in my humidors at all times. Absolutely dependable and highly recommended to the beginning and experienced smoker alike.
Shiny dark Brazilian wrapper is always of good quality. This figurado is rolled well and ensures an excellent draw every time. Not much clip is needed. The first third is sweeter than the rest and like a cup of good coffee, this cigar becomes bolder with each draw without overpowering. It's one of those 'chewy' cigar experiences...not too much pepper, good savory and sweet balance, supple leather, coffee and brown sugar. Produces a firm gray/white ash which doesn't flake apart inconveniently on your clothes. Good to the hilt. I have never had a plug or noticeably uneven burn. I think these cigars also come in at a decent value, especially when you can grab one of the CAO promotional "add-ons." I will continue to buy and enjoy CAO's best line, the Brazilia.By Sluiceyourgob
