I am glad I did, the Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Robusto was a pleasure to smoke. As the description states it combines an Ecuador Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with long fillers from the Dominican and Nicaragua. Its smooth, rich profile is accentuated by notes of cedar, nuts, and leather, and the solid construction and burn. Yummy stick that has been added to the humidor.

Great flavors poor construction.
When I first tried these I loved them so much I decided to buy a box, great flavors. However, only about 1 out of 5 is smokeable. The construction is extremely inconsistent, the draw is so tight they are not smokeable. The whole box is like this, I couldn’t be more disappointed. I keep my cigars in a quality humidor at 65 percent humidity using boveda. Very poor quality control on Alec n Bradley part. Mikes was great, excellent service and shipping. I’ll buy from Mikes again but just not the gatekeeper.
