Named for Zino Davidoff, this brand has evolved from an earlier luxury identity into a more contemporary portfolio within the Davidoff family. Current Zino cigars focus on an easygoing, modern style built around approachable blends, colorful presentation, and a broader social smoking concept than the more formal image traditionally associated with Davidoff.
The brand’s current core lines include Zino Nicaragua and Zino Honduras, each made with multi-origin tobaccos that reflect a more relaxed, medium-bodied direction. Across the portfolio, Zino is known for balanced construction, accessible flavor profiles, and blends that bring together tobaccos from countries such as Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador rather than following a single-country formula. That gives the brand a range that leans smooth, flavorful, and contemporary instead of heavy or highly traditional.
Zino also carries meaningful critical recognition. Cigar Aficionado named the Zino Nicaragua Toro its No. 7 Cigar of 2025, an award that helped establish the revived brand as more than a casual offshoot. For smokers looking at the brand as a whole, Zino stands out for combining Davidoff pedigree with a more informal, modern blending approach and a portfolio designed around everyday premium smoking rather than classic luxury cues alone. ...Read More
I've been turning to lighter-to-medium cigars like the Nub Connecticut and Oliva Serie O and wanted to try something similar. Zino does not disappoint. Robusto has an easy draw and a mild, flavorful smoke that I couldn't put down until I was burning my fingers. With a 24 pack and free sampler the price was reasonable as well for top tier construction.

The Zino Nicaragua is a Davidoff line I have been seeing and wanting to try for a long while now and finally got the opportunity to try a few as part of a Mike's Sampler. Just finished my last one and Zino has an interesting flavor note of leather, salted nuts, spices, chocolate, coffee and peppers. The Zino Nicaragua is a nice medium body cigar, perfect for pairing with tropical rum or vodka drink on those warm nights.

Zino Nicaragua Robusto
Zino Nicaragua Robust - just wasn’t a fit for my pallet
The Zino Nicaragua Robusto is a medium to full-bodied cigar features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Upon lighting, you'll encounter notes of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and a subtle spiciness. The construction is good, with a smooth draw and an even burn. This cigar was a bit disappointing and personally I did not find this cigar to be a particularly enjoyable smoke. I would have to say it just wasn’t a fit for my pallet.

I bought 3 of these just to give them a try. They are more expensive than most of the cigars I buy. They came in a nice package. But if that is why the price is higher, loose the fancy packaging. Due to the price, only giving 3 stars.

Zino Nicaragua Toro
Decent All-Rounder
davidoff made a cheeky move to make cigars cool again with this one, great all-rounder, goes well with a glenfiddich 15...I love smoking this one with my friends before soccer games, we are all huge fans of Zino Toro to be honest goes fantastic with gin and tonic as well, no need to mention beer. Mild to medium taste and quite enjoyable

With a new bolder look, Zino tries to reach a new audience. Though not a fan of the new branding, I will look past the cover to see what lies beneath. I found this smoke to be a solid medium on both flavor and strength. Not much transition, but a constant mocha note throughout. Not a stick I would seek out, but will revisit in several months
