Introduced as part of Rocky Patel’s flagship Vintage Series, Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is built around an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper aged seven years, paired with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. The line is made in Honduras and is known for a balanced, medium-bodied profile that leans creamy and refined rather than heavy.
That blend identity gives the collection a distinct place within the broader Rocky Patel portfolio. Vintage 1992 is generally associated with notes of cedar, nuts, coffee, sweetness, and soft spice, with the maturity of the wrapper shaping a smoother, more rounded character. Its long run in the market has also helped establish the line as one of the core expressions in the Vintage range, alongside the 1990, 1999, 2003, and 2006 releases.
The series earned early attention from Cigar Aficionado, including an 89-point rating for the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Toro, a reflection of the line’s reputation for balance and flavor complexity. More than a commemorative name, Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 remains a defining example of the brand’s approach to aged tobaccos and box-pressed presentation. ...Read More
Was a little hesitant to bring this one out to the beach. From the first puff, I realized it was gonna be a great burn.

A must try for everyone
I absolutely love RP cigars and this one is top five in my book. I can see why Rocky counts the 1992 as his favorite with it's full bodied spicy goodness and with the churchill you're in for 1.5-2 hrs of a truly enjoyable smoke.

An Exceptional Smoke
This is one heck of a cigar. The reveal, as I removed the cello sleeve, gives a deep, fragrant inhale. The cold draw was sweet and woody. Lighting is when the magic happens, though. Creamy and smooth with an unexplainable hint of sweetness. Bitterness is always something I dislike in a cigar and the Vintage 1992 delivers not a hint of it. This cigar is a commitment; I was puffing on this cigar for nearly 2 hours, and to be honest, I never tired of it. Don't be fooled, beginner or seasoned smoker, this is one you should give a try.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Petit Corona
Delicious, full bodied smoke
Definitely a very intense, chocolatey smoke. Very tasty. Petite corona size is perfect with a dark whiskey at the cigar lounge after work if you only have 30-45 or so minutes.

1992 Vintage Churchill Tubo
Elegant and powerful. The profile really matches the packaging here. It did get a little hot on the drawer towards the end but I think that's because I liked it so much I was smoking it too quick. It's full-bodied and has a lot of sweet woody notes.

Glitch in The Matrix
The cigars themself are great, savory, sweet and spicy at the same time. For some reason the last box of tubos I got were on the dry side. I rehydrated them and everything was fine but not sure how or why it happened hopefully it was just a glitch in The Matrix.
Was a little hesitant to bring this one out to the beach. From the first puff, I realized it was gonna be a great burn.
