remain Nicaraguan puros. Across the line, Perdomo positions the blend as a refined, mature smoke rather than a heavy one, with a profile shaped by extended tobacco aging and the brand’s signature wrapper treatment.
That wrapper process is central to the identity of the series. Perdomo identifies the Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne as the line where its bourbon barrel-aging technique for wrapper tobaccos began, a detail that helps explain both the name and the collection’s character. The Connecticut cigars lean creamy and smooth with notes of honey, cedar, and gentle spice, while the darker versions move toward earth, cocoa, espresso, oak, and a fuller finish. As a whole, the line is known for balancing sweetness, texture, and Nicaraguan core flavor without losing clarity or restraint.
The series has remained one of Perdomo’s most recognizable regular-production offerings, and it has also earned notable critical attention. Cigar Journal named the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro its Cigar of the Year for 2021, a distinction that reinforced the broader reputation of the line. Taken together, Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne stands out within the Perdomo portfolio for its aged tobaccos, bourbon barrel-aged wrapper concept, and a polished box-pressed style that ranges from mild to medium-bodied in the Connecticut blend to medium-full in the Sun Grown and Maduro releases.
