Flor de las Antillas is a core My Father collection made at the Garcia family’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and built around an all-Nicaraguan blend. Named in tribute to Cuba, the line helped define My Father’s broader identity by pairing the family’s signature spice with a rounder, more accessible profile centered on cedar, earth, cocoa, and measured sweetness.

Rather than functioning as a single showcase cigar, the series is known as a consistent expression of the My Father house style across multiple vitolas, with a sun-grown wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The result is typically medium to full-bodied, offering structure and richness without abandoning balance, which has made the line one of the brand’s most recognizable regular-production releases.

Its reputation was cemented when the Flor de las Antillas Toro earned a 96 rating and was named Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year for 2012, a distinction that elevated both the line and the Garcia family’s standing in the modern premium-cigar market. That recognition remains central to the collection’s identity, not because every size mirrors that exact cigar, but because it confirmed the line’s importance within My Father’s Nicaraguan portfolio.
