Description

The Licenciados cigar is a creamy, smooth, medium body smoke that offers a very similar body and flavor to that of a Macanudo. A true son of a Cuban cigar and the brain child of Manuel Quesada. Licenciados was first released in 1989 to rival the Classic Cuban taste that has been sought after by cigar lovers since the Cuban embargo in 1962. A creamy Dominican blend with a blonde Connecticut wrapper, these light-bodied handmade cigars are easy to smoke any time of the day. A light, nutty flavor and a creamy finish complements the mild-bodied demeanor exceedingly well.

Love the size

This is a mild to medium smoke with pleasant DR tobacco throughout the experience. Need to smoke these slowly to avoid getting to hot. Hope they continue to produce these elegant cigars in this "larger is better" cigar culture.

A good thin cigar

This is a nice, mild smoke. Panetelas are hard to find, so this Licenciados product is a welcomed addition. It's a bit loose, not as well packed as the Rocky Patel Panetela, so it smokes quicker and that's why I gave it 4/5 stars.

Been smoking cigars for so long I remember "buy 5 and get a 6th for free". Super premium cigars were under $5.00 too. Then the cigar craze hits in the early 1990's and the prices jumped and supplies tightened. Anyway, found Licenciados in mid 1990 a nice mild morning cigar. Then I was unable to find the until I started shopping at Mike's. Here I am enjoying a wavell on a warm winter evening here in New York!

SUPREME BEING

As the name implies, this is a "SUPREME" smoke! I usually smoke the Churchill, Panetela, and Figurado, but this Beast at 8 1/2 X 52 shines for quite a long time. The light nutty and cedary flavor can now be enjoyed on a longer stick. It's true enjoyment from beginning to end.
