La Duena, another gem from the Garcia family, is the joint effort of Jaime Garcia (son of Jose “Pepin” Garcia) and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje cigars. Named in honor of Janny Garcia, the daughter behind My Father Cigars, this cigar is a broadleaf dynamo.

In a recent Cigar Aficionado interview Janny stated: “It’s collaboration between Pete Johnson and Jaime. They tried
to make something I really like. I didn’t want something too strong, and I like the sweetness of this wrapper.”

New to the market and unlike anything blended by My Father Cigars, La Duena was officially released at the 2012 IPCPR trade show in Orlando. La Duena possesses a very dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that encompasses a blend of Nicaraguan and Broadleaf binder and filler. As usual like any cigar from My Father Cigars La Duena cigars will not disappoint.

La Duena received an epic 90-rating from Cigar Aficionado magazine in the October 2012 issue!
