Description

Introduced in 2026, EP Carrillo Ascend was created at the Casa Carrillo factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, as a regular-production line built around a focused Nicaraguan core. The blend pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí and Nicaraguan fillers, giving the collection a clear identity within the broader EP Carrillo portfolio.

That makeup sets the line apart through a profile that leans earthy, spicy, and woody, with a measured richness rather than the heavier weight of some fuller EP Carrillo releases. As a collection, EP Carrillo Ascend reflects Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s preference for balance and structure, using a wrapper-and-filler combination that delivers depth while keeping the blend composed and accessible for smokers who want flavor without excess strength.
