Known among cigar smokers as the black label, Don Pepin Garcia Black refers to the Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic line, a collection introduced after the original blue-label Don Pepin and built around the pepper-forward style closely associated with José Pepin Garcia. The line is made with Nicaraguan tobaccos and is generally recognized for a fuller profile that combines earth, cedar, spice, and the assertive pepper note that helped define Pepin Garcia’s early reputation.
Rather than functioning as a broad brand overview, this series stands out as one of the core expressions of the Don Pepin name, linking traditional Cuban-inspired sensibilities with the richer, more forceful character of Nicaraguan tobacco. Don Pepin Garcia Black remains a useful reference point within the Garcia family portfolio for smokers interested in the earlier style that established the line’s identity. ...Read More

Great cigar
This one was nice. I usually smoke the blue but the black is a bit heavier. I liked it.

I find the cigar to be the balance in a corojo. The structure of the cigar is 99.8% perfect for a handmade cigar. The flavor is powerful and consistent throughout the smoke. The Gigante size is a good pleasant 2 hour and change smoke. Stay away from these cigars, because they leave more for me.

Great take on the Belicoso, increasing the ring a bit. Nuff power and leather spice on the first third. Last few puffs are pure pepper, nice way to end it with a wicked retro.
