Released in 2026 as a regular-production addition to Davidoff’s Black Band Collection, Davidoff Puro Dominicano is built entirely from Dominican tobaccos and revisits a name first used for a limited edition in 2009. The current blend is not a revival of that earlier cigar, but a new all-Dominican composition made at the Cigars Davidoff factory in the Dominican Republic.

Its identity rests
on regional diversity within one country: a Yamasá wrapper, a binder from Martín García, and fillers drawn from Mao, Villa González, Piloto, and Navarrete. Davidoff presents the line as a fuller-bodied expression than its traditional white-band classics, with a warmer, richer profile shaped by the range and maturity of Dominican leaf rather than by a multi-country blend.

That focus gives Davidoff Puro Dominicano a specific role within the broader Davidoff portfolio. Where lines such as Nicaragua, Yamasá, and Escurio explore bolder profiles through different countries of origin, this collection concentrates on the depth, structure, and complexity possible from Dominican tobacco alone, making it one of the clearest modern statements of the company’s long-standing work with the island’s leaf.
