Introduced as a regular-production line built around Honduran Olancho San Agustín wrapper tobacco, CAO OSA Sol was created to showcase a sun-grown leaf from the 2008 crop rather than follow the heavier, darker profile often associated with the brand. The blend pairs that wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, giving the collection a medium-bodied character rooted in earth, spice, and a measured natural sweetness.

That emphasis on Olancho San Agustín tobacco is what gives the line its identity. Across the range, CAO OSA Sol is known for a dry, savory profile with notes commonly centered on earth, wood, pepper, and cocoa, delivered with more balance than sheer strength. CAO Osa Sol Lot 54

Nice!

This is a lovely, low-end medium to medium strength smoke. Floral fruity note(s), toasted nuts, slight cocoa/chocolate, some pepper; maybe white. Great construction, nice price! Definitely in my top 10 go to cigars since 2012! Beginning to be hard to find, ya better grab a box. It won’t disappoint and makes an excellent anytime, every day cigar.

CAO Osa Sol Lot 50

COA OSA SOL - Pine Forest Cigar

Olancho San Augustin
Robusto size. Wrapper is medium brown, slightly toothy and shiny tight seems. Smells like Cocoa and grass. First flavors taste like the burnt edges of a chocolate cake French Roast coffee and carrot juice. The pack is very firm especially under the band and the draw is tight. The first third presents an unusual set of spices and herbs like nutmeg and oregano, a group of things that just don't go together normally but it makes for a refreshingly different taste. Ash holds about an inch at a time. Burnline is just right. At halfway the flavors have coalesced a little bit still herbal spice and chocolatey coffee this but a little more together now. Down to the bottom third, flavors favor the coffee dregs and chocolate cake ends but still holds that vegetal, pine forest flavor that is the distinction of this cigar. Smoke time - 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace.
