Released in 2020, CAO Bones was created as a regular-production line built around the easygoing social rituals that often surround cigars, with its branding drawn from dominoes and dice rather than from a traditional geographic theme. That casual concept is matched with a blend that is more layered than the name suggests, using a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Connecticut Shade binder and fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.

The line is handmade in Nicaragua and leans medium to full in body, with a profile commonly associated with wood, nuts, cocoa, vanilla, and a touch of sweetness. A Dominican Piloto Cubano leaf plays a supporting role in the filler, adding balance to the blend instead of dominating it. Another CAO winner

I have not had a CAO that I have no liked yet. But this is definitely in my top 5 that they offer. Great blend and a smooth flavorful smoke. Would Highly recommend you add these to your humidor, even if its only a 5 pack.

Good, smooth, dark, waiting...

This is only the 2nd CAO I've ever bought. I'm a big fan of the Italia. This one isn't as 'spikey' as the Italia, meaning the high notes that really float my boat. This cigar to me is more dark and round and brooding. letting them sit a little. I'm a big Punch fan but CAO is getting my $ lately.

Bones for the win!!!

The presentation of the cigar was a great conversation. The wrapper is awesome if you look closely, it has a hidden domino pattern. The cigar has great flavors of pepper, leather, and spices. Keep a great burn throughout my entire smoke. Would highly recommend if you enjoy smoking a cigar with the buddies and a nice cold beer.

Rick Rodriguez is on fire lately. The bones has an interesting packaging and an even more interesting profile. Sweet fruity and tart with blasts of cedar and spice on the retro. Really nicely done.
