Sweet Flavor and "Giant" Value
I bought a couple of boxes of these giants for a friend of mine (he loves the big gauges). After he opened the first box, I got to try one for myself. I didn't expect to that I would have to buy another pair of boxes for myself.
First of all, these are the biggest sticks currently in my humidors. These giants require a commitment, so they've become my late Friday night movie cigars. My advice is to eat a good meal before tackling one or two of them over the weekend. Construction is good...maybe a little loose given how firm they feel. None of them have been too tight, but some of them are on the windy side. The wrapper is absolutely gorgeous (they look even better than the picture). I'd say these gordos firmly qualify as a "show piece" ; )
Contrary to what you might think, these mammoths make for a very cool smoke. Even my wife was surprised by the lack of bite. I think sweet notes are on the forefront with cinnamon, pumpernickel and light chocolate to go along with tanned leather. Flavor improves into the final 2/3 of this long smoke. It produces a tight, dark ash that clings, which keeps me from accidentally dropping ash all over my front. In a few words, I'd say it's firm, cool, sweet and mildly complex. To sum up, the price is excellent for so much smoke, so there's a good value here. Camacho has a fine reputation and these gordos are no different.

Always 6x60 smokes
I only smoke 6x60 cigars and these Camachos are among my favorites, and not because they are really good but because they are simply ok-every-day cigars and at the same time, very cheap cigars compared to many other ones. In short, a great buy.
