Collaborating with master blenders Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz, Avo ensured each cigar was hand-rolled using aged Dominican tobaccos. The result: consistent blends, medium to full-bodied, highly complex, and bursting with flavor. Only 5,000 boxes were ever produced.
AVO Limited Edition 2014 88 Belicoso: Celebrating Avo’s famed focus on numerology and the piano’s 88 keys, this Belicoso (6 × 52) features a Yamasa wrapper paired with a Dominican Olor/Criollo binder and fillers (Piloto Viso, Piloto Ligero, San Vicente Ligero, Corojo/Olor, Criollo) . Launched on March 20 2014 in the U.S., the piano-black lacquer box contained 8,888 cigars (888 were autographed) . The cigar scored 86 points from Cigar Aficionado, praised for its robust, woody, peppery profile.

The name nods to the jazz “Dominant 13th” chord—complex, bold, and musically inspired . Each box, limited to 6,000 units, includes a numbered music-book style case lined with Avo’s sheet music, a handwritten note, and a USB featuring his tracks, a video clip, and a digital catalogue.
AVO Limited Edition 2012 La Trompeta: Released for Avo’s 86th birthday, this 6½ × 54 Torpedo is robust and spicy, with a Mexican Sumatra-seed binder over Dominican ligero filler and an oily special Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper marked by three trumpet-valve dots. Smoky wood, dark chocolate, and rich forest aromatics pay homage to Avo’s mastery on trumpet and in cigars.
