The original line is made in Estelí at AJ Fernandez Nicaragua with an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, a Corojo 99 binder, and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, creating a medium- to full-bodied profile built around balanced spice, sweetness, and nutty notes.
The collection has since expanded with AJ Fernandez H Upmann Nicaragua Heritage, a regular-production companion that leans fully into Nicaraguan-grown tobacco and a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper for a darker, richer expression. Together, these cigars show how Fernandez’s blending style can reinterpret H. Upmann through fuller body, deeper earth and cocoa notes, and a more contemporary profile than the brand’s traditionally milder offerings.

This is the cigar that made me respect AJ Fernandez. I enjoyed H.Upmann’s the banker so I then tried this cigar not really looking into the fact that it was a collaboration. Man. Easily one of my top 5 cigars.

Decent cigar for those who like blend by AJ Fernandez
AJ Fernandez has its own style and taste. It won't hit me too hard for me - the fortress is above average, closer to full. Cuban motives are felt. There are no complaints about the quality of the cigar - the roll is full-bodied, without obvious tobacco failures. Burning evenly, without distortions. I didn't really like this cigar, but my friends were delighted. It's worth a try!

Except for the excellent Oliva V Melanio, I didn't buy boxes... Until now. I got the H. Upmann by AJ Fernandez in a sampler and was immediately sold. What a great, flavorful stick! So I splurged and happily made it part of my regular rotation. Try it, you won't regret it!

Very spicy
Was the first cigar I had that I enjoyed only been smoking for around a month. It was spicy strong for me I definitely felt the nicotine but I really enjoyed the blend and tobacco. Very well constructed never had to relight once I definitely recommend at this price you can’t go wrong
