\n Thought Id try this one, made by My Father with tobacco seeds from Cuba and leaves aged at least 3 years I was certainly intrigued! Wanted to give this blend at try especially in comparison to its cousin the Flor de Las Antilas Toro. Needless to say, no disappointment here. \n \nAfter cutting, a cold draw revealed notes of chocolate and nutty bread. After lighting, combustion was controllable although there were burnouts about 1.5" in. After that, any ash over 1 inch was ashed and combustion held up. Noticed sweet tones behind a slightly bitter espresso taste which complemented each other well. Noticed leather upfront that faded a bit through the smoke. Further into the smoke those compliments remained constant, not too oily or very little pepper throughout. More importantly, this smoke seemed less acidic than its cousin Flor de Las Antilas Toro. \n \nAll in all, a very pleasant smoke with a modest flavor profile that isn't over bearing. Will certainly buy a few more to age in humidor! <\/div>\n\n \n
