Rocky Patel wanted to put a spin on the Olde World Reserve brand with a Corojo line. Unlike its sister line, which is crafted in Nicaragua, the Olde World Reserve Corojo is hand-rolled in Honduras. The lines share an enticing Nicaraguan blend. For the Olde World Reserve Corojo, the blend of fine tobacco is cloaked in a Honduran Corojo wrapper and box-pressed. When you light up this cigar expect a medium-bodied smoke with tasteful hints of coffee and nut.
Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve cigars are woodsy and earthy with rich mineral intonations on a backdrop of roast coffee. Note the rare Costa Rica  wrapper, that's something you do not see everyday if ever. Corojo wrappers are  a hot trend right now, soft and very synonymous with Cuban cigars. First  introduced in 2005, then re-introduced, both the Maduro and Corojo versions have been well-received by enthusiasts and industry media. The Maduro is sweet and complex and has been compared to Padrón Anniversary series. Described as a full-bodied smoking experience that combines the smooth complexity of the Vintage series with the earthy strength of The Edge." Subtle  at the start, then transitions into boldness of black pepper and espresso  coupled with chocolate cake and toffee. Toasted nuts and creaminess are  added to the mix later on in the smoke. Dense smoke and a nice burn enhance  the smokers experience. Try one of these and see why the reviewers and cigar  fans are fond of the Olde World Reserve Corojo.
