RAMON ALLONES

Ramón Allones, founded in 1837, is one of the oldest brands in the Habanos S.A. cigar portfolio that's still produced. Allones himself is credited as the first manufacturer to decorate his boxes with ornate, branded labels. While the brand isn’t exactly a household name, as it’s one of the smaller brands coming out of Cuba, Habanophiles know it well. It’s also a cigar that fans of more full-bodied tobacco tend to reach for, and the Specially Selected is probably the most recognized vitola in the smaller Ramón Allones portfolio. One of the relatively few to feature a Dominican-grown wrapper, this premium cigar is made with a stout broadleaf binder, a robust blend of Nicaraguan, Piloto Cubano, and Mexican ligeros, and a La Vega Especial wrapper that is caramel in color and silky smooth to the touch. Notes of black cherry, cedar, and spice will appeal to your palette while the delicious bouquet of sweet-smelling honey will captivate your senses. Each cigar is individually aged in cedar sleeves to add to its mellow flavor and wonderful aroma. -Meta description: Ramón Allones, founded in 1837, while one of the smaller cigar brands, fans of more full-bodied tobacco tend to reach for it.
