MACANUDO

MACANUDO
These exquisite wrappers are combined with a Mexican binder and a Dominican-Mexican filler blend. The bulk of which comes from the Dominican Republic. Which produces a mild body, yet flavorful cigar that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Each draw is filled with mild to medium notes of wood, espresso, brown sugar, and espresso. Which lands softly on the palate. Its gentle profile is why the blend is ideal for newcomers to premium cigars.
Macanudo has received multiple excellent 90 point ratings from Cigar Aficionado. Including a 90 point for the famous Hyde Park vitola.

Rating80%Macanudo Court TubeGoodA good cigar but Macanudo has issues with the rolling the cigar too tight. Out of the first 5 Macanudo Court Tube, one was not smokable due to impossible to draw.

Rating100%Macanudo PortLight Bodied StubbyI bought a box of these as an almost afterthought because I liked the size and shape, but wanted a lighter smoke for a change. Lately I find myself grabbing one every time I open my humidor. In fact, I've had to pace myself so that I don't run out too fast.
First of all, it's Macanudo, so I know the construction is excellent. I'm through about half a box and so far, no plugs or major soft spots. The draw is just right and each cigar burns into a delicate, light gray ash.
What's cool about these sticks is that most of the big ring gauges on the market tend to be dark and complex, but these Port Cafes offer up a lighter smoke in a hefty package, making them unique. There isn't a ton of complexity to talk about in flavor...crisp straw and cedar notes. Creamy with a hint of bitterness and the whole thing is pretty consistent. I like the price and the change of pace from most of my maduros. These guys have found a place on my permanent stock list.By Sluiceyourgob

Rating100%Macanudo Prince PhilipMacanudo Cafe Prince Philip (7.5"x49")Macanuda and Moosehead. The perfect combination for a Canadian invasion of cool air to the south. You are done raking leaves and now it is time to burn your cigar incense in thanksgiving. Macanuda is a reliable smoke that never fails to deliver. With a perfect burn, this cigar lasted over two hours. The Dominican and Mexican long-fillers delivered a spicy note with just a touch of almonds. It was the perfect match with a Canadian Lager. A rugged, dependable cigar as respectable as the moose.

Rating80%Macanudo Hyde ParkNot much to sayNot much to say in the way of flavors for this stick. I suppose you could say a little creamy but the taste is very short lived. It was smooth and the draw and burn were excellent. Might be a good stick for a first-timer, it isn't going to scare off a newbie.

Rating100%Macanudo TudorSuperior Summer SmokeThe Macanudo Cafe is a fantastic summer smoke for the hot weather here in the South. A smooth, mild white smoke with flavors of vanilla, light nuts, and a slight taste of spice possibly in the cedar woody range. Ash was long and the cigar stayed lit the entire experience. The burn pace was normal with no hot sessions. All around a great cigar for anytime breakfast, after mowing grass, or just BBQing during the summer with some beers.
Thanks to Mike's Cigars for the fantastic service with the fast delivery of some of the freshest cigars I have ever received. The delivery was right on time and packaging phenomenal to protect the contents. Of course the Add On was great with 10 additional cigars and a proper Macanudo ashtray that is very much appreciated by my wife.By JMJ
